This is a beautiful story of finding love, first love. The way you write them giving into their love was careful and awkward. It was authenticity wrapped up in your time period.

Edward's experience was sickening to the soul. I am not sure any amount of alcohol or time could erase such an assignment.

At least he found and rescued his love in the end.
