I really enjoyed the story you created here. I love some good love from a distance. The fact you had her sitting at his table in his chair while he was gone was a great touch. Sometimes it doesn't take much for two souls to find each other and know that is it.

Now they are both starting their careers. Starting their family. Starting their life together and apart all at once.
