There was so much emotion in this story. I think them in the shower together was one of the most touching moments I have read in fan fiction. No lie. His despair and her earnestness in his facing and moving past the guilt put me in the moment. I could feel the love of this relationship. Her steadfastness with a man who would not come home with a smile on his face every day, and when he brought his work home it meant death and pain. Yet, she so effortlessly picked that burden from him. Centered him. Wow.

I really enjoyed this story.
