I often wondered about how Jasper dealt with feeling the lust and loving feelings of others before he had Alice. Not that I imagined him experiencing much of it beyond the newborn superficial feelings in his life with Maria.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if experiencing genuine friendship and affection from Peter might sway him to take refuge in his arms. I love how you portrayed it here.
